1. Provide a full-range, composite back can, ceiling speaker that shall provide an internal transformer.

         1. Shall consist of a 3" (76 mm) full-range driver with a tuned port
      2. Performance Requirements
         1. Shall provide a frequency range of 65 Hz to 20 kHz, -10 dB below average SPL, measured on-axis in half space (per IEC 60268-5)
         2. Shall provide a frequency response of 265 Hz to 19 kHz, ±3 dB, measured in half space
         3. Shall provide a power handling capacity of 16 watts (rms) continuous pink noise (per IEC 60268-5) and 32 watts (rms) continuous program
         4. Shall provide a nominal sensitivity of 83 dB SPL (1 W, 1 m) measured in half space (per IEC 60268-5)

            2. Shall support a maximum wire gauge of 12 AWG per connection point for a single wire
            3. Shall support a maximum wire gauge of 16 AWG per connection point for two wires

         1. Shall provide a thin-edged rounded bezel surrounding the grille
            1. Shall measure 9.32 (236.7 mm) in diameter from bezel edge to edge
            2. Shall provide a white, powder-coated, paintable magnetically-attached perforated steel grille with black scrim
         2. Shall measure 8.9” (226 mm) in diameter
         3. Shall measure 4.0” in height from front of ceiling tile to top of enclosure
         4. Shall weigh 3.6 lbs (1.6 kg) per speaker
         5. Shall require 7.6" (193 mm) diameter opening in mounting surface for speaker cutout
      5. General Requirements
         1. Shall be sold in pairs
         2. Shall have a separable back can and baffle to support single trade and division of labor applications
         3. Shall include V-rail and folding C-ring kits
         4. Shall have a cable/conduit access plate that can be oriented for side or top connections
         5. Shall be compatible with Extron SGK SF3C Square Grille Kit
         6. Shall meet regulatory compliances
            1. Shall meet safety compliances under CE, UL 2043, UL1480, NFPA 90A, and NFPA 70
            2. Shall be UL listed for plenum airspaces and meet UL 2043 for heat and smoke release
            3. Shall meet UL 1480 for commercial and professional audio systems
            4. Shall comply with appropriate requirements for RoHS and WEEE
         7. Shall provide five year parts and labor warranty
