1. Provide a two-piece speaker system for suspended ceilings that shall consist of a two-way open back ceiling speaker with an internal transformer, as well as a plenum ceiling tile enclosure, and shall accommodate division-of-labor installations.
   1. Two-piece speaker system consisting of a two-way open back ceiling speaker with an internal transformer for 8 ohm direct and 70/100 volt operation
      1. Driver Requirements
         1. Shall consist of a 6.5" (16.5 cm) long-throw, polypropylene cone woofer
         2. Shall consist of a 3/4" (1.9 cm) ferrofluid-cooled dome tweeter that is mounted on a honeycomb tweeter bridge
      2. Performance Requirements
         1. Shall provide a frequency range of 42 Hz to 20 kHz, -10 dB below average SPL, measured on-axis in half space
         2. Shall provide a frequency response of 58 Hz to 16 kHz, ±3 dB, measured in full space

         2. Shall provide glass polyfill insulation
         3. Shall measure 23.7" (60.1 cm) in length

         5. Shall measure 4.9" (12.4 cm) in depth
         6. Shall weigh 6.0 lbs (2.72 kg) per ceiling tile enclosure

      6. Mounting Requirements
         1. Shall provide four, baffle-integrated spring-loaded locking arms
         2. Provide the option of installing into a plenum or non-plenum ceiling
      7. General Requirements
         1. Shall be sold with a pair of ceiling tile enclosures and a pair of two-way speaker cartridges
         2. Shall meet regulatory compliances
            1. Shall meet safety compliances under CE, NFPA 70, and NFPA 90A
            2. Shall be UL listed for plenum airspaces and meet UL 2043 for heat and smoke release, only when speaker cartridge is used with included CS 120P plenum ceiling tile enclosure
            3. Shall meet UL 1480 for commercial and professional audio systems
            4. Shall comply with appropriate requirements for RoHS and WEEE
         3. Shall provide five year parts and labor warranty
