1. Provide a two-way open back 8 ohm ceiling speaker that shall provide wide, uniform coverage and uncolored off-axis response in non-plenum airspace environments.

      1. Driver Requirements
         1. Shall consist of a 6.5" (16.5 cm) polypropylene cone woofer
         2. Shall consist of a 3/4" (1.9 cm) ferrofluid-cooled dome tweeter
      2. Performance Requirements
         1. Shall provide a frequency range of 50 Hz to 20 kHz, -10 dB below average SPL, measured on-axis in half space
         2. Shall provide a power capacity of 25 watts (rms) continuous pink noise per IEC 60268-5 and 50 watts (rms) continuous program
         3. Shall provide a nominal sensitivity of 86 dB SPL (1 W, 1 m) measured in half space
         4. Shall provide a nominal impedance of 8 ohms
         5. Shall provide a cross over frequency of 4.2 kHz
         6. Shall provide a nominal conical coverage angle of 110°
      3. Electrical Requirements
         1. Shall support 8 ohm direct connection from power amplifiers
         2. Shall support one incoming and one outgoing speaker level signal on one 4-pole, 5 mm captive screw connector
         3. Shall support wiring multiple speakers using parallel or loop-through wiring
         4. Shall support a maximum wire gauge of 12 AWG per connection point for a single wire
         5. Shall support a maximum wire gauge of 16 AWG per connection point for two wires
         6. Shall provide an internal overload protection circuit
      4. Enclosure Requirements
         1. Shall consist of an open back, infinite baffle design
         2. Shall have a white, paintable textured finish
         3. Shall provide a secondary, seismic tie-off point
         4. Shall provide a speaker wire strain relief tie-down point
         5. Shall provide of a thin-edged bezel surrounding the grille
         6. Shall measure 9" (22.66 cm) in diameter from bezel edge to edge
         7. Shall measure 2.95" (7.49 cm) in height from mounting surface to top of locking arm post
         8. Shall protrude 0.49" (1.24 cm) into environment from mounting surface

         1. Shall provide four, baffle-integrated spring-loaded locking arms
         2. Shall support mounting in material up to 1.5" (3.8 cm) thick
         3. Shall support installation in soft ceiling tiles with the use of optional Extron Ceiling Mount Kit
         4. Shall be installed in non-plenum airspace environments
      6. General Requirements
         1. Shall be sold in pairs
         2. Shall include cutout template/paint shield and setup guide
         3. Shall meet regulatory compliances
            1. Shall comply with appropriate requirements of RoHS and WEEE
         4. Shall provide five year parts and labor warranty
