PowerCage 411 Enclosure

1. Shall provide a configurable enclosure that supports Extron modular fiber optic extenders that shall enable the distribution of video, audio, and control signals
   1. 1U high, rack-mountable configurable enclosure for modular fiber optic extenders
   2. Configuration requirements
      1. Shall provide a modular, hot swappable design
      2. Shall provide four (4) configurable slots for Extron PowerCage 411 modules
      3. Shall support field configuration of the enclosure and installed modules
      4. Shall support hot-swappable module replacement
   3. Control requirements
      1. Shall provide one (1) female mini USB port B on front panel for setup, configuration, and firmware updates
      2. Shall provide one (1) bidirectional RS-232 connector on rear panel for setup, configuration, and control
      3. Shall provide one (1) female RJ-45 connector on rear panel for setup, configuration, control, and monitoring via an Ethernet connection
      4. Shall support SNMP for remote monitoring
      5. Shall provide RS-232 insertion from the Ethernet port to installed modules for system level control of local and remote devices
      6. Shall support Extron Product Configuration Software – PCS for setup and configuration
      7. Shall provide a recessed Reset button on the front panel
      8. Shall provide an LCD on front panel for configuration and status information
      9. Shall provide front-panel controls for setup and configuration without a computer
         1. Menu options and selections are displayed on the front panel LCD
         2. Menu and Next momentary push buttons enable navigation of menus
         3. Horizontal and vertical rotary encoder knobs enable selection of values within the menus
      10. Shall provide front panel security lockout to prevent inadvertent or unauthorized changes to configuration settings
   4. Power requirements
      1. Shall provide dual redundant power supplies
      2. Shall support hot-swappable power supply replacement
      3. Shall provide two (2) AC power inputs for continuous connection to primary and secondary power sources
      4. Shall provide power to installed PowerCage 411 modules
   5. General requirements
      1. Shall be a 1U high, full rack width metal enclosure
      2. Shall provide exceptional thermal management
         1. Provides air flow to each board for optimal cooling and reliable operation
         2. Variable speed fans reduce noise levels by only operating as needed
      3. Shall be rack mountable with included brackets
      4. Shall be furniture mountable with optional mounting kits
      5. Shall meet regulatory compliance
         1. CE, c-UL, UL
         2. CE, C-tick, FCC Class A, ICES, VCCI
         3. Product-appropriate RoHS and WEEE
      6. Shall provide at least three (3) years parts and labor warranty
