- Provide interconnection for the transmission of HDMI digital video and audio signals over a copper cable assembly.
- Cable shall conform to the Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable specification established by the HDMI organization
- Shall support resolutions up to 7680x4320 @ 60 Hz with 4:2:0 chroma sampling and 12-bit color depth
- Shall support data rates up to 48.1 Gbps
- Shall support dynamic HDR, EDID, HDCP, CEC, HEC, and eARC
- Shall support QMS, VRR, ALLM, and QFT enhanced gaming features
- Shall support PCM 8-channel, DTS-HD Master Audio™, DTS:X®, Dolby® TrueHD, and Dolby Atmos® audio formats
- Shall meet the following cable construction requirements:
- 28 AWG copper conductors
- HDMI type A male connectors with gold-plated contacts
- Bend radius of 1.90” (48 mm)
- Cable outer diameter of 0.24” (6 mm)
- Cable shall be 6 foot (1.8 m) in length
- Cable shall provide protection from outside electrical interference
- Cable shall comply with CE and RoHS standards
- Cable shall be certified for use with AVEdge, Cable Cubby®, and HSA surface access enclosures
- Approved cable shall be Extron HD 8K/6, part number 26-743-06; no alternates or equals
