- Shall provide an LED for power indication that lights green when the unit is receiving power and active, and lights amber when the unit is in standby mode
- Shall provide an LED for indication of the enclosure temperature exceeding the optimal value
- Shall provide green LEDs for input signal presence indication
- Shall provide red LEDs for indication of clip warning and protection circuit activation
- Rear Panel Requirements
- Shall provide two inputs on one 5-pole, 3.5 mm captive screw connector
- Shall provide two outputs on one 4-pole, 5 mm screw-lock captive screw connector
- Shall support 22 AWG to 12 AWG speaker cables
- Shall provide remote standby control port on one 2-pole, 3.5 mm captive screw connector that supports standby defeat with the insertion of included 10k ohm resistor
- Shall provide recessed, detented potentiometers with laser etched position indicators for attenuation adjustment
- Shall provide a 2-pole, 3.5 mm captive screw connector for selecting a high pass filter to roll off frequencies below 80 Hz
- Shall provide green LEDs for input signal presence indication
- Shall provide red LEDs for indication of clip warning and protection circuit activation
- General Requirements
- Shall be enclosed in a rack-mountable 1U, half rack width metal enclosure
- Shall meet regulatory compliances
- Shall meet safety compliances under CE, CEC, CISPR 22 Class B, C-tick, CUL, ENERGY STAR, European Code of Conduct, FCC Class B, ICES, RoHS, UL, UL 2043, VCCI Class B
- Shall be UL listed for plenum airspaces and meet UL 2043 compliance for heat and smoke release, when used with an optional Extron Flexible Conduit Adapter Kit
- Shall meet UL 60065, IEC 60065, and BSEN 60065 for safety
- Shall meet EMI/EMC compliances under CE, CISPR 22 Class B, C-tick, FCC Class B, ICES, and VCCI Class B
- Shall comply with appropriate requirements of ENERGY STAR, EU code of conduct, RoHS, and WEEE
- Shall provide three year parts and labor product warranty
- Shall provide seven year parts and labor power supply warranty
- Input Requirements
- Approved device shall be the Extron XPA U 1002-100V, part number 60-1761-12; no alternates or equals.
- Compact stereo amplifier with 100 watts rms power output per channel into a 100 volt line and ENERGY STAR® qualification
