1. Provide an 8" capacitive touchscreen interface for switching and controlling AV equipment
   1. Modular and furniture-mountable enclosure with an integrated 8" flip-up color touchscreen user interface for AV and control systems that supports a combination of AC power modules, AV cables, and cable retraction modules, and can also be configured or programmed for remotely controlling, monitoring and troubleshooting connected AV equipment when paired with an Extron IP Link® Pro xi control processor
      1. Provide a touchscreen that supports up to 16.7M colors and 1280x800 resolution
      2. Device shall feature scratch and smudge-resistant Corning® Gorilla Glass®
      3. Device shall support Extron IP Link Pro xi control processors
      4. Device shall include a single built-in speaker integrated on the side of the enclosure that can be configured to provide audio and button feedback
      5. Device shall have a female RJ-45 jack located on the bottom of the cable access enclosure that supports 10/100/1000Base-T, half/full duplex with auto-detect for connection to a LAN or WAN and includes link and activity LED indicators located on the left and right of the jack for troubleshooting network issues as well as supports PoE (Power over Ethernet), 802.3af
      6. Device shall include a single high-speed USB 2.0 type C connection located on the bottom of the enclosure
         1. Device shall support expansion ports via a USB-C adapter when paired with LinkLicense for TLP Control Processor or can be remotely powered
      7. Provide a light sensor located on the right side of the bezel of the touch surface that automatically adjusts the LCD screen’s backlight based on available ambient light
      8. Device shall have a menu button located on the bottom of the enclosure for setup of items such as IP address and sound volume at minimum
      9. Device shall include a multi-function button located on the bottom of the enclosure that allows for the reset of the device or its communication properties at minimum
      10. Device shall support the following protocols: DHCP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS (redirect), ICMP, IEEE 802.1X, IPv4, NTP, SFTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, SSL, TLS, TCP/IP, UDP/IP
      11. Device shall have the following memory available, at minimum:
          1. SDRAM
             1. 4 GB
          2. Flash
             1. 64 GB
      12. Device shall support one AC or AC+USB series power module plus
          1. Up to sixteen AV cables, or
          2. Up to six single space AV AAP connectivity plates, or
          3. Up to six cable retraction modules
      13. If AC power module is not required, the device shall then support
          1. Up to twenty-four AV cables, or
          2. Up to nine single-space AV AAP connectivity plates, or
          3. Up to six cable retraction modules
      14. Device shall include an attached and fully integrated, all metal lid and bezel assembly
      15. The lid and bezel assembly shall be available in a black anodized finish
      16. Device lid shall fit entirely within the bezel
          1. When closed, the lid shall provide a full width opening for cable pass-through
          2. When open, the lid shall articulate to an optimum angle
          3. Device shall include a frictional pivot lid that prevents unwanted and hard closures
      17. Device enclosure shall mount entirely within an opening sufficient to accommodate the enclosure
      18. An installation routing template, of an appropriate size to accommodate the enclosure, shall be available optionally
      19. The enclosure shall feature an integrated clamp system
          1. The clamps shall be permanently affixed to the enclosure body
          2. The clamps shall utilize a lever-and-cam mechanism
          3. The clamps shall secure the enclosure to the furniture without the need for tools or additional parts
          4. The clamps shall allow for removal of the enclosure from the furniture without the need for specialized tools
      20. An Internet-accessible application for enclosure configuration and visualization shall be available
          1. Application shall provide for selection of the enclosure, AC power modules, AV cables, AV connectivity plates, control modules, and cable retraction modules
          2. Application shall provide accurate depiction of power and connectivity selections
          3. Application shall provide a method of saving a representation of the configured enclosure and corresponding bill of materials
          4. Application shall provide market-specific pricing of the configured enclosure for budgetary purposes
      21. Device shall have native support for H.264 streaming formats enabling the touchpanel to display live streaming video from an IP camera or a streaming encoder such as the Extron SMP or SME series of products
      22. Device shall have the ability to be controlled by an HTML5, and JavaScript enabled web browser, or an iOS or Android based device as a secondary point of control
      23. Provide an integrated lid switch which can be configured to automatically wake the button panel interface when open and can trigger any other system functions.
      24. Device shall support a LinkLicense for TLP Control Processor allowing for up to:
          1. 32 Secure Platform Devices (SPD)
          2. 8 TouchLink panels
          3. TLCA2 Adapter
          4. 12 Network Button Panels (NBP)
   2. Mounting requirements
      1. Device shall have the ability to be mounted in a flat surface such as a table or other piece of furniture.
   3. Software requirements
      1. User interface shall be created using Extron’s GUI Designer software
      2. The device may only be configured or programmed using Extron’s Global Configurator Plus or Professional, or Extron’s ControlScript Deployment Utility respectively.
      3. Shall be configured or programmed by an Extron authorized user.
      4. The device’s configuration and settings shall be managed using Extron’s Toolbelt software
   4. Security requirements
      1. Device shall support SFTP and SSH for secure communication between the control processor and TouchLink Pro touchpanel
      2. Device shall support SFTP and SSH for secure communication between the control processor and the configuration or programming software
      3. Device shall provide the option to modify administrator and user credentials
      4. Device shall support security updates to maintain network health
      5. Device shall require that a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Certificate is installed to maintain system confidentiality and data integrity
      6. Device shall support the installation of an owner furnished certificate with the following properties:
         1. Certificates shall include x.509 support
         2. Certificates shall include public / private key exchange
         3. Certificates shall support PEM encoding
      7. Extron shall furnish documentation that describes all supported network ports and services
