1. Shall provide switching of 8K HDMI digital video and embedded digital audio signals with audio de-embedding
   1. Shall be a two-input and one output switcher for HDMI video and embedded digital audio signals
      1. Shall support local device connection
      2. Shall support video resolutions up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz at 4:2:0 chroma sampling
      3. Shall support HDMI specifications including data rates up to 48 Gbps, Dynamic HDR, Deep Color up to 12-bit, 3D, and HD lossless audio formats
   2. Video input requirements
      1. Shall provide two (2) female HDMI Type A connectors for digital video signals with embedded audio
      2. Shall provide automatic input cable equalization
   3. Video output requirements
      1. Shall provide one (1) female HDMI Type A connector for digital video signals with embedded audio
      2. Shall allow HDMI video to be muted on the output
         1. Video mute only
         2. Video and embedded audio mute
   4. Audio output requirements
      1. Shall provide one (1) five-pole captive screw connector for balanced/unbalanced analog audio output
      2. Shall extract LPCM 2-channel from the HDMI input
      3. Shall convert LPCM 2-channel audio to an analog signal
      4. Shall support embedded digital audio on HDMI outputs
      5. Shall support multiple embedded audio formats
      6. Shall support embedded HD lossless audio formats
      7. Shall provide analog stereo audio de-embedding
      8. Shall allow HDMI embedded audio to be muted on the output
   5. EDID requirements
      1. Shall include Extron EDID Minder® Plus technology for automatic management of EDID communication between connected devices
         1. Support up to 512-byte, 4-block EDID structures for displays that convey advanced features via both EDID and DisplayID
         2. Support 5K and 21:9 aspect ratio content
         3. User-selection of EDID from the connected display
         4. User-selection of EDID from pre-stored data files
         5. User upload of custom-generated EDID files
         6. Assignment of pre-stored, captured, or uploaded files
         7. Maintain continuous EDID communication with the connected sources
   6. HDCP requirements
      1. Shall be HDCP 2.3 compliant
      2. Shall include Extron Key Minder® technology to authenticate and maintain continuous verification of HDCP key exchange between the connected source and sink devices
      3. Shall provide the option to disable HDCP processing at any HDMI input connection when passing unencrypted content
      4. Shall provide a full green screen signal for visual confirmation when encrypted content is routed to a non-HDCP compliant display
      5. Shall provide real-time verification of HDCP status for each HDMI input and output
   7. Shall provide +5 VDC, 250 mA power on the output for an external peripheral device
   8. Control requirements
      1. Shall provide one (1) 3.5 mm, three-pole captive screw RS-232 connector on rear panel for control
      2. Shall provide one (1) USB-C connector on front panel for setup, configuration, and firmware update loading
      3. Shall provide physical buttons on front panel for input selection and configuring auto-input switching modes
      4. Shall provide automatic switching that follows the most recently connected or highest-numbered input with an active connected source
      5. Shall support device setup and commissioning using Extron Product Configuration Software
   9. Power requirements
      1. Shall include an external, universal AC power supply supporting 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz power

   10. General requirements
       1. Shall be housed in a 1” (2.5 cm) high, quarter rack-width metal enclosure
       2. Shall be rack mountable with optional 1U rack shelf

       4. Shall provide visual signal on LED indicators located on front panel for auto-switch status, signal presence, and HDCP authentication
       5. Shall support front panel security lockout to prevent unauthorized use in non-secure environments
       6. Shall include LockIt® Plus cable lacing brackets
       7. Shall meet regulatory compliance
