MPS 602は、DTPツイストペアエクステンダー搭載メディアプレゼンテーションスイッチャーです。HDCP準拠のHDMI入力3系統およびDTPツイストペア入力1系統を切り替えて出力可能です。さらにRGB入力2系統を装備、アナログビデオをデジタル化し切り替えて出力します。DTPツイストペアまたはHDMI出力1系統への出力を選択可能です。DTP入力および出力はDTPトランスミッターおよびレシーバーと使用して、1本のシールド付きCATxケーブルでビデオ、オーディオおよび双方向制御信号を最長100m伝送可能です。多彩なオーディオスイッチングおよびプロセッシング機能と、ローカルまたは離れた場所に設置されたディスプレイへのスイッチングおよび分配に柔軟に対応可能な機能を搭載しています。可変プリアンプ出力モデル（パワーアンプなし）、ステレオ4/8Ωパワーアンプ搭載モデル(MPS 602 SA)およびモノラル70Vアンプ搭載モデル(MPS 602 MA)をラインアップしています。
