- Shall provide duplex zip-cord cable construction for strength and protection of the glass fiber

- Termination requirements
- Shall be terminated at each end with an industry-standard LC-type fiber optic connector
- Pre-polished with an UPC – ultra physical contact end face
- Shall be configured with duplex connectors using AB - BA reverse-pair polarity as described in TIA-568
- Shall be terminated at each end with an industry-standard LC-type fiber optic connector
- Performance requirements
- Shall meet or exceed singlemode fiber performance standards

- Shall provide attenuation of less than 0.5 dB per kilometer at a 1310 nm wavelength

- Shall be bend-insensitive fiber for a tight bend radius of 0.3 inches (7.5 mm) with minimal cable losses
