1. Provide an EDID emulator that delivers automatic and continuous EDID management for 8K HDMI signal sources
   1. Provide EDID emulation for HDMI video and embedded digital audio signals
      1. Shall support 128-byte to 512-byte EDID data
      2. Shall support up to four memory blocks for displays that convey advanced features via both EDID and DisplayID
      3. Shall support computer and video resolutions up to 7680x4320 @ 60Hz with 4:2:0 chroma sampling at 10 bits of color, including 2560x1080, 3440x1440, 3840x1080, 3840x1440, 3840x1600, 5120x1080, 5120x1440, 5120x2160, 5120x2560, 5120x2880
      4. Shall support HDMI specifications that include data rates up to 40.1 Gbps, HDR 10, 12-bit Deep Color, 3D, and HD lossless audio formats
      5. Shall support CEC pass-through
   2. Video Input Requirements
      1. Shall provide one (1) female HDMI Type-A connector for HDMI video and embedded audio signals
      2. Shall provide automatic HDMI input cable equalization
   3. Video Output Requirements
      1. Shall provide one (1) female HDMI Type-A connector for HDMI video and embedded audio signals
      2. Shall provide automatic management of color bit depth based on the capabilities of the connected display, as reported by display EDID
      3. Shall automatically reformat HDMI source signals for output to a connected DVI display
   4. EDID Requirements
      1. Shall include technology for automatic management of EDID communication between connected devices
         1. Provide a minimum of 12 pre-stored EDID files
         2. Support capture of EDID from any connected display
         3. Support uploading of custom-generated EDID files
         4. Support assignment of any pre-stored, captured, or custom uploaded EDID file to the HDMI input connection
   5. HDCP Requirements
      1. Shall be HDCP 2.3 compliant
      2. Shall provide the option to disable HDCP processing at the HDMI input connection when passing unencrypted content
      3. Shall provide a full green screen signal for visual confirmation when encrypted content is routed to a non-HDCP compliant display
      4. Shall provide real-time verification of HDCP status for HDMI input and output
         1. Accessible over a USB connection
   6. Control Requirements
      1. Shall provide a USB control connection
         1. One (1) female USB type-C
         2. Comply with USB 2 standard
      2. Shall provide alternatives for configuration and operation
         1. Product configuration software connected via USB
         2. Serial commands sent over USB connection
   7. General Requirements
      1. Shall provide +5 VDC, 250 mA power on the output for an external peripheral device
      2. Enclosure shall be rack-mountable, one-quarter rack width, and 1” (2.5cm) in height
      3. Shall be mountable under a table, desk, or other furniture surface
      4. Shall ship with included 12-Volt DC, 0.5 A external power supply
      5. Shall meet regulatory compliances
         1. Safety compliances under CE, c-UL, and UL
         2. EMI/EMC compliances under CE, C-tick, FCC Class A, ICES, and VCCI
      6. Shall provide at least three years parts and labor warranty
