- Local Matrix I/O and Input-only boards shall provide automatic input cable equalization to 100 feet (30 meters) at 1920x1200@60 Hz with 8-bit color depth
- Local Matrix I/O and Output-only boards shall provide automatic output reclocking
- Local Matrix I/O and Output-only boards shall provide +5 VDC, 250 mA power on each output for external peripheral devices

- Remote Matrix I/O boards shall automatically disable the laser whenever the fiber cable is disconnected
